You MUST provide a valid email address in order to receive your password or you will not be able to complete the registration process and will not be able to login. Occasionally, the system re-validates email addresses so please keep yours up to date.

CONTRIBUTIONS
Much of the Internet is becoming "pay for play" and no longer free for the taking. R.O.G. remains "contributions voluntary". Contributions are not required to access the main Rotorway Owners Forum sections however some sections are for members only and do require a contribution for access. These are primarily archival in nature. Membership contributions keep the forum running. Please help out and click on the "Tools" drop-down menu and then "Become a Member" and give what you can. Typical membership donations range from $50-$500 per year depending on membership levels.

The success of the Rotorway Owners Forum depends on participation by the members. By joining you agree that you will make some contribution back to the forum even if it is only to ask questions. If you cannot participate in even this most basic way you should consider not joining and we reserve the right to remove accounts which have no posting activity over an extended period of time (usually years).

POST DELETION POLICY
R.O.G. Forums are not a "free-for-all". To keep the discussion in the Rotorway Owners Group Forums at a courteous and professional level the Administrator and moderators may delete posts that are judged as inappropriate or inciteful or take any action deemed necessary with regards to content on ROG to protect the integrity and value to members of R.O.G. Forums. Although reasonable attempts will be made to provide notice to the original poster, post deletions may occur without notice. These deletions will be in accordance with R.O.G. Rules. If you have a question about the deletion of a post do not post it on the forum - such questions will be deleted. Send an email to the forum moderator or Administrator.

DELETION OF MEMBER REGISTRATIONS/BANNING
As with post deletions, R.O.G. Forums are not a "free-for-all". To keep discussion on Rotorway Owners Group Forums at a courteous and professional level the Administrator and moderators may find it necessary to temporarily disable or remove a member's registration or even permanently ban that individual. This will not be done without careful consideration and consultation with the R.O.G. moderation/admin staff. These actions will be in accordance with R.O.G. Rules. All reasonable attempts will be made to provide notice to the member in question and the member will be provided an opportunity to negotiate a reinstatement of their registration/membership. Donation refunds will be at the Administrator's discretion.

R.O.G. FORUM RULES AND BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES
1. Commercial advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, SPAM, virus warnings, and solicitations are not permitted. Personal for sale listings are encouraged in the Classified section. Vendors may also post information on their products as long as they are informative of nature and not just obvious advertisements. Use good judgement. Any vendor post with price, availability, and or contact information must be made in the Classifieds section.

2 Posts that are abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, rude, mean, nasty, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise inappropriate or clearly inaccurate or violate any law are not permitted and will be deleted.

3 Be civil and courteous to each other. ROG is a community and we all must get along. See number 2.

4 Make sure that your posting topic fits the topic description you are posting under. If you change the subject of a particular topic start a new one. Posts that are blatant thread creep may be moved or deleted.

5. Humor and discussions that encourage camaraderie and a community spirit are strongly encouraged. However, pure silliness or ridiculous behavior that becomes distracting to a threads topic may result in the post being deleted.

6 Limit picture uploads to no more than 640 pixel by 480 pixel JPEGs, with a total compressed file size of less than 300K. Images larger than this may be deleted since they force users to have to scroll right and left to read posts in the entire thread. They also take too much bandwidth. Only post pictures that are relevant to the topic discussion.

7 PLEASE don't use all CAPS in postings. It's exceedingly difficult to read and on the Internet it's the equivalent of yelling at us.

8 Be courteous to all - remember, you are a guest here. No one has forced you to be here so if you don't like it here please just leave us alone and go elsewhere. See number 3 and number 2.

9 Do not post questions to the Hints, Tips and Frequent Asked Questions Forum or the Classified Forum. The Hints and Tips Forum is for posting of hints and tips only and the Classified Forum is for advertising only.

10 Do not post comments about the appropriateness of another member's or the administrator's/moderator's postings. Do not post comments about the the moderating of the R.O.G. forums. If you feel a comment is necessary then send a constructive PM or email to the appropriate moderator or to the ROG Administrator.

11 You may not reprint the content residing on R.O.G except for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial use requires the explicit written permission of the R.O.G. Administrator.

12 You may not solicit R.O.G. members for business or to write articles for other publications or to join other groups. You may not collect email addresses or solicit others to provide email address except for the specific purpose of your personal communications with that individual.
